The step sidewalls are visible above grade as free standing walls. VERSA-LOK wall block allows for splitting the back 2 inches off the block and stacking such that a split texture face is now on both sides. Free standing walls add a nice finish. VERSA-LOK's Mosaic pattern design uses their Accent block which back-to-front taper is not compatible with free standing wall construction at this time.

Pine Hall Brick pavers are a clay product. The colors are unique from concrete. The clay pavers seem every bit as strong and cut well with our standard wet saw. We did compact these pavers while spreading joint sand. No breakage while compacting.
